The Bible is the word of God. The written word spoken by God through the HolySpirit.
“Yeah. I get all that. But what is the Bible really?”
I just explained it to you Tina. I said it is…
“Yeah. Yeah… I heard that. But that is a religious definition. I want a fleshy (word becoming flesh), and more understanding of what the Bible is.
“God, please what is the Bible?”
The Bible is my spoken word, it is your sword in a warfare.
“Must I always fight? I know that it is a sword according to Ephesians, but I want something. Something is not hitting the strings in my soul cords.”
“Yeah. You didn’t let me finish speaking Tina.”
“I am sorry.”
Lol.
Okay. As I was saying, the Bible is the following; it is my spoken word, your ‘bath’ unto righteousness and cleanliness, your sword for warfare. It enlightens you to know me. Just reading it renews your mind and cleans your soul. Regularly reading it gets you connected to me, it harnesses your relationship with me.
When you read the Bible, you get to understand how I deal with people and what I expect of your love for me, it shields you from lies and deception of the devil, It helps you to know your true worth from the mouth of your creator (God, me). Reading the Bible shields you from evil, it consecrates your heart and keeps your desires in me, not in the world. You get to have and appreciate a simple and peaceful life in me.
Reading the Bible also can help you connect to me and my mind Faster.
You see how you connect to evil when you read evil books? That is the same and even more with me.
Reading the word, the Bible keeps you in submission.
Above all, it is my Blanket, Love Note, Heat/Warmth for you in any season of life.
Besides, I know that the Bible has been referred to as a mere book with the pronoun, ‘it’, but the word, the Bible is Christ [John 1].
And Christ is not an ‘it’. Is He? “No”
So logically or more appropriately, the Word, the Bible is a He. So, to answer your question, replace every it with He, and I am sure your soul string cord would be hit.
I love you babe, Tina. You really do some questions though. But I love you still.
Stay Blessed.
I bless all your reader.
Amen.

“People ask me what I do in the winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.”
