Wife: You have been quiet and silent lately. I wouldn’t force you to say anything now. Feel free and comfortable being in your cave for how long you need. I would be right here waiting for you my darling. [With a kiss]
Husband: [smiles] sit down.
[She sits]
Husband: I want to tell you something but I don’t know how to tell it, that is why I have been thinking lately.
Wife: Okay. What is it? I am all ears darling. [Smiles]
Husband: I have cheated on you.
Wife: How do you mean?
Husband: I have slept with another lady.
Wife: Wow…when did this happen?
Husband: For a while now.
Wife: Are you still together?
Husband: Can’t really tell.
Wife: Okay. That is no problem.
Husband: It’s a problem, because that is not only it.
Wife: What more?
Husband: She is carrying a child for me.
Wife: Can I ask you something sweedy?
Wife: Do you love her?
Husband: No.
Wife: How did it happen?
Husband: She came over to me at the office. I don’t know where she came from and I don’t know what I was thinking. She just came over to me, looking attractive and I couldn’t resist her. You were pregnant at the time. I am not saying I am happy for what I did, but that is what happened.
I don’t know how to get out of this mess.
Wife: Hold on. Can I ask you an honest question, and could you please give me an honest answer?
Wife: Do you want to have her?
Husband: No!
Wife: Don’t be in a hurry to say No. I would appreciate a why No.
Husband: No. I don’t want her. I guess I was in a roller-coaster; I couldn’t stop until she told me she was pregnant. That was my stop.
Wife: I understand.
Wife: Is there anything you would want me to change about myself? Am I not satisfying you enough?
Husband: No. Not that. I was seduced and couldn’t resist. That is all. It got nothing to do with you. Actually, when it first happened, I felt ashamed and couldn’t tell you. When she realized I couldn’t tell you, she kept coming at me at this weak point. And I guess I was too weak to resist, since she already made me to understand that I have fallen.
Wife: I understand. Thank you for telling me all these. Don’t feel like a loser or think you have fallen. Am I hurt? Yes, but I understand where you are coming from. Can you promise me that you wouldn’t do this again? Can you put your hands under my thigh and promise in the Lord that you wouldn’t do this? This really breaks my heart, and I can’t promise my cool or composure should a second instance of this happen. Can you promise me? If you can’t I wouldn’t force you. You can think about it and come up with something at your own time.
Husband: I will prefer that please.
Wife: I love you darling. I love you still. I love the ‘sinner’ but not the sin of course. Do you want us to meet the lady?
Husband: Can you?
Wife: Yes I can, if you would let me.

[Meeting with the Lady]

Wife: Sweetheart, good afternoon.
Lady: Good afternoon ma’am. How may I help you?
Wife: Well, we don’t have much. My husband and I want to plead with you over something. He has actually told me everything, but I want to apologize to you for his wrong deeds. He shouldn’t have touched you ever. You are a precious girl and you must be treated as such.
Lady: No. He didn’t touch me, I did. I am sorry.
Wife: Sweetheart, don’t apologize yeah. Your body is actually for only your husband, and for my husband to rob your husband of a part of you is not fair. We are really sorry for everything that happened. Please forgive us. Could you?
Lady: Yes.
Wife: Thank you. God richly bless you.
Husband: I am sorry too.
Lady: No problem.
Wife: About the baby, we will take care of him with you.
Lady: I am actually not pregnant. I tricked him into believing that.
Wife: Oh okay. No problem. We are really sorry for everything. Have we been forgiven sweedy? [With a smile]
Lady: Yes, you have! [Shouts it]
Wife: Okay. Can I get a hug please?

Husband: Me too.
Lady: Alright.
Wife: We are at peace now. God bless you all. Let’s go home sweedy. See you darling. You are beautiful. God bless you.
Lady: You too [smiles]
