[Matthew 5:15-16 _ nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.]

Who lights a lamp and put it under a bowl?
The Bible expects us to shine our lights before men that they may see our good works and glorify him, God in heaven.
Which light is the Bible talking about?

It is the word of God in us.

Often, when we get a revelation or a discovery of the word, we like to keep it or act on it in obedience IN A VACUUM, with the fear that, should we get among people, we may fall into disobedience or go against the word of God.

No Sweetheart.
Actually, what you are thinking could happen, but it doesn’t mean you should live in the fear of that. What you ought to do is that, you have to assimilate and absorb the word of God or the revelation of the word you have gotten, into your spirit’s ‘digestive system’ for digestion to take place. So that the effect of it or the light of it will shine through your deeds.

The word is not to be applied by your mind/common sense.

It has to come from your spirit. In that way, it is evident that, that word has become a part of you through proper meditation, and prayers.

If you go about telling people the revelation you have gotten, you may end up empty of the revelation/the Word. Because, the word is in your mouth only. It has not yet been chewed (meditated upon), absorbed and assimilated, and has not gotten into your ‘digestive system’ for it to become a part of you.

I know you have a great desire to touch lives; I know that you are scared of the word leaving you, so you have chosen to be mute. Don’t worry dear. A solution is here for you.

Meditating on the Word of God read or the revelation of the word you have gotten IS THE SOLUTIONSee ways you can apply the Word to yourself. Allow the Word to get into your heart and become a part of you.

Note: //The Bible says that, for out of the heart, the mouth speaks [Matthew 12:34].

For your mouth to speak the word, it has to come from your heart.
Once the word has gotten into your heart, you gain understanding and wisdom of the word.

But if it is still in your ‘mouth’/ mind without it being meditated upon, it is still knowledge (raw material) and can easily be forgotten. TAKE NOTE!

So sweetheart, the next time you get a word from the Lord, don’t rush to let it out. Meditate upon it, chew and swallow it. Let your body and Spirit benefit from it first, then you can let others see your good works and glorify God, your father in heaven.

People have to see your good works coming from the Word in you: so you can’t stay in a vacuum to serve your God in heaven.

You may need some form of isolation in the Spirit to get time to meditate upon the word of God in you. But don’t stay out too long or make it the option to stay in isolation.

Matthew 5:15-16 says it all.

Jesus Loves You so much… So does me.
Peace!
