This is not the religious kind of relationship with your maker whereby you have to pay tithe, or do mass etc. No.

This is the kind of relationship whereby you feel God in your spirit; He is in you through his Spirit, the Holy Spirit. You don’t just assume it, it is real to you.
This kind of relationship with God is very important. It covers you in this world (Psalm 91), even in your ‘sin’.

The guilt of a sin you have committed can condemn you so badly that you wouldn’t feel worthy to go to God, even in prayer, but should you have a relationship with God, you would be able to go to him humbly in prayer like the Prodigal son, and ‘beg’ to be taken back again into the loving arms of your heavenly father.

Don’t risk your life like that_ living in this world without the cover of God over you.

Don’t allow the devil to condemn you like a child without a father. You are not a bastard! You have a loving heavenly father who always smiles upon you and loves you so much that, he would allow the death of his son to happen for your sake (your salvation). It is a worthy cause for him, because you are so important to him.

Jesus Christ, the son of God (your heavenly father) also needs you to be his friend.
God needs you as a son. Please say yes to this request: His arms are opened widely to receive you fully just as you are (Revelations 3:20) and to cover you. Please don’t try to be ‘perfect’ before you ‘come’ to him. He perfects all things. Come just as you are, and he will perfect you for himself. Halleluyah!

Your journey to salvation and into the kingdom of God is like this:
Accept that you need a savior; confess your sins to God (this is, accepting your wrongs and showing your willingness to be saved. This also shows that you are not prideful, but humble enough to accept a savior). After you have confessed your sins to God (not to any other man_ no man can save your soul from sins and its consequences.) and had admitted that you were wrong for all the sins you have committed, ask God to have mercy on your soul and forgive you of all the sins, and cleanse you with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (After this cleansing prayer, see yourself as holy. Don’t allow the devil to put guilt on your mind. For God has forgiven all of your sins, cleansed you and made you white as snow).Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal savior, believing that he is the son of God. Now that you are holy, ask God to put his Spirit (the Holy Spirit) in you. Ask the Holy Spirit to bless you with any gift that he wills.

[This is a faith walk_ you don’t to see or feel or hear anything per se to confirmed this. Just believe that you have been saved of all your sins and are now holy unto God. Halleluyah.]

The Welcome:
After you have said this prayer out of your heart and have been washed, you are now a son of God. God ‘shake hands’ with you, ‘hugs’ you and say, “Welcome my son/daughter.” He puts on you the garment of the righteousness of Christ. Now, it is not you who live, but Christ lives in you. He lives in you to will and to do according to God’s will for your life.
Another step that would help you which you need to do is to feed on the Word of God (the Bible). Note that I didn’t say read once in a while. Feed (eat daily) the Word of God, so you may grow thereby [1 Peter 2:2, Romans 12:2].

The Ride:
That is all my darling. Feed on the word of God. Don’t be going here and there for anything to feed your mind with. You are now a newborn baby in Christ, so you got to feed on the word of God until you mature in God. Don’t allow anybody to feed you anything that looks like the word of God but it is actually diluted with logic.

“How will I know?” you may ask.

You will know my darling, because of the Holy Spirit in you. He will prompt you. And his approval comes with peace and Joy. It is an experience my darling. Just start with the word of God first. Don’t worry if you ‘fall’ or make mistakes in your walk. It is all part, and God is there to help you through. Just have a sincere heart to love and know God. And his Spirit, the Holy Spirit in you will reveal him to you to the fullest. It depends on how far you go with your commitment to God and his Word.

Yearn for God, and have a relationship with him. You can call it a friendship. And like every friendship, there is an ‘awkward’ start, until you get to a point where you two can’t get enough of each other_ you love each other so much and are with each other (presence) for hours without even realizing.
Let it get there sweetheart.
Because, a true relationship with God relieve you of any toil of guilt the devil likes to play on the mind of men. If you know the word of God often, you would be set free from any bondage of the devil: He would not be able to put any shackles on you to bind you in ignorance and pain. No! The word of God in you will free you immediately.

Love God, and have a relationship with him. He loves you. And he is not the enemy, the devil is. But rejoice, because he has overcome the devil and the world for you. You are the son of a victor. You are a conqueror darling.
