[Romans 10:17 _ Consequently, faith comes from hearing the messages and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Hebrews 11:1 _ Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.]

As we can see, these 2 scriptures talk about faith (how it comes and what it is).

In simple terms, faith is God’s word: What God has said in his Word is your faith (title deed, assurance, hope, etc).

Believing/accepting that what God says is true NO MATTER WHAT is having and acting in your faith.

It is one thing to believe in God’s word/ in God himself, and it’s another thing to act in what you believe in.

When God’s word says by his stripes you WERE healed, that is your faith, or let me say, that is your faith source. Now, to activate/bring alive this Word/God into your existence is to act on what He has said (what you believe).

So when you are sick, you should speak, “It is written, ‘By his stripes you were healed.’ Therefore I claim healing for my bones and flesh (or wherever the problem is) in Jesus’ name. Amen.” That’s all sweetheart. From then onward you should thank God that you are healed (by faith).

[Please do not forget the “IN JESUS’ NAME.” It is very important, and the devil can’t do anything about it but to bow and submit to the authority in Jesus’ name.]

Having faith is believing that God’s word is true. So in any circumstances you find yourself, faith is finding what God’s says about your situation in the Bible.  When you find it,that is your assurance and title deed. You should hold on to it because it will never fail. Amen.

So faith is simply God’s Word (about your situation). Having faith is believing that, ‘THAT’ WORD OF GOD IS TRUE. Then you act on it. Amen.

#Faith (God’s word) without works (action/you acting upon) is dead. [James 2:17]

#Hebrews 4:12 _ The word of God is LIVING and ACTIVE.

Also, please note that the more you read the Word, the more your faith is increased. Because the knowledge of the Word gives you power and an upper hand in every circumstance you find yourself in.

Moreover, the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth [Ephesians 6:17] leads you into more truth in the Word of God through the revelation of the Word to your spirit.

The Word of God is very important. You don’t fight the devil or your problems with emotions. You fight it by the known authority, “It is written…”.

Until you know that, until you have that (The Word of God in you), the devil would destroy you with the fury darts he throws at us every time, since you have no shield (of faith).

Finally, Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. When you hear the Word, and it gets into your spirit, it becomes a shield for you. The Holy Spirit would also help you fight your battles (with the sword of the Spirit) by reminding you of definite and specific Word (weapons) you have read to use at a time.

The Word is very important.

Get the Word.

Have Faith.

And find yourself pleasing the LORD all the time, as you also get a shield (of faith) to protect you all the time from the devil (his fury darts).
