To be a Christian is an underestimated privilege; having someone (God) care, and think about you is so awesome; having someone think about your future so accurately that He goes forth to make things straight, so that you would have a smooth walk in life is so lovely.

However, as Christians, there are some things which if we don’t take note of to correct them will rid us of our great inheritance in God, and keep us from enjoying the above that I have stated and more.

I have listed below 4 points which I think are the key elements destroying Christians from enjoying their full inheritance in God as the “DeeBees” that they are in Christ Jesus.

The points below are not to condemn you nor shame you. Like Jesus said in His Word, “my people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge,” these points are just to make you self-aware so that you could keep yourself from sliding into the pit of condemnation which the devil (as a roaring lion) seeks for you.

Amen.

What destroys Christians are these:

WORRY – “Therefore I tell you, Do Not Worry about your LIFE…” [Matthew 6:25]

DOUBT —  “… But when he Asks, he must believe and NOT DOUBT, because he who doubts is like the wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in ALL he does. ” [James 1:6-8]

FEAR – For God did NOT give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. [2 Timothy 1:7]

UNFORGIVENESS — … But if you do NOT forgive men their sins, your FATHER will NOT forgive your sins. [Matthew 6:15]

Finally:

Isaiah 59:1-2 _ surely, the arm of the LORD is not too short to save nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that HE WILL NOT HEAR…

Do you worry a lot?

            Are you fearful or timid mostly?

                        Do you find yourself doubting the Word and Promises of God?

                                    Are you harbouring unforgiveness in your heart for someone?

If you are a Christian and you still experience the above, you should know that you are working against yourself according to what is written in Isaiah 59:1-2.

Please try and get rid of these negative feelings and thoughts by prayer, self-discipline, a conscious study of the Word of God, and also by exercising your faith (having a complete trust and belief in God), or else, these feelings and thoughts will prevent you from enjoying your rich inheritance in God.

You are a king and a priest of God [Revelation 1:6] . As a king, you are to reign in, and rule with authority (Luke 10:19). You are not to be thread upon by some feelings which justifies itself ignorantly.

Satan is moving around like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour and destroy. Don’t let him get you. You are God’s own; live in Him, and trust Him.

Psalm 23:2 AMP _ “He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me besides the still and restful waters.”
