I am sure you, my cherished reader is waiting for a binary answer, yes or No, black or white. Its my pleasure to serve you sweetheart. Come with me. Let’s dig in now.
Okay, so whether Jesus is black or white is not the issue. The focus is, when God was looking for a maiden to carry his son, Jesus, on earth, he found a virgin named Mary from Bethlehem. That is all!
No black sperm nor white egg got fertilized to conceive him as son.
The maiden (“surrogate”) who availed herself to the service of God was from Bethlehem. However, this doesn’t mean or make the child the “race” of the “surrogate”. What matters is that the child came to earth through a human being (virgin Mary), and his purpose on earth had been defined; He was sent on earth to introduce God to the people on a relationship level, not on the ‘religious’ level which they were used to. He stayed true to his purpose, even unto death, the death on the cross. Now, he has risen having accomplished his purpose on earth. He is at the right hand side of the Father, interceding for us, and acting as our High priest. He is Lord for All, be it Blacks or Whites.
As long as the sun shines on all human beings irrespective of their color, God is the God of all.
As long as you breathe in air which you didn’t create, God is the God of All, be it Blacks or Whites.
Quit attaching racism to your faith, because racism is carnal [Romans 8:6-10].
So, to answer the question above, race-wise, Jesus is neither White nor Black. Yes, he was birthed in Bethlehem, and yes, he was called a Nazarene (place) according to the prophecy spoken about him by the prophets [Matthew 2:23]. However, he was sent by the one (God) who created all men, so he is Lord of all.
Don’t try to put everything in a ‘box’ like society would. Because some things don’t fit in there. Thus they are not meant to be “in a ‘box’”.
Have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ (the Word) whether you are Black or White, and you would know that His Love for you knows no race. THANK YOU.
