We all have the ability to obey the scriptures. It is inbuilt in us. It is our food: Without it, we can’t survive. The only issue is that we are mostly torn between our fallen self, and our recreated spirit. We are spirit: Our soul and body are just accessories. They are not our being per se. We are Spirits. And the Word of God is our food (faith food). Without the Word of God, we will perish.

Investing much into your soul and body at the detriment of your spirit is like decorating a corpse; your corpse. Why would you spend much on your corpse when you could live? The Word of God is Life. The Word of God is God himself. So obeying the Word of God is you becoming more like Him. We all know that comparatively Heaven is far better than earth. Do you know that even though you live on earth with all its limitations, you could have heaven on your earth? When people are saying there is a casting down, you will be saying there is a lifting up to the glory of God, your Father. Why? How? Because you are becoming more like God. And wherever God is, Heaven is there (For example, Obed of Edom). When people are experiencing ‘earth’, you would be experiencing heaven, because you are becoming more like God through your obedience to His Word.

What is God without his Word? What is a king without his Word? Just as God is with His Word (Christ), and the Holy Spirit, so must you also. It is by his word that a king rules. If a king can’t speak, he is more like a slave, even though he may be well decorated: He is just a ‘decorated slave’. As a King, you Speak. As a god, you speak. And as becoming like God, you obey what He (God) speaks.

Obeying God’s Word is not a restriction. It is just like you want to go to Mars, or the Moon, and you are being told to put on an attire. Do you see the attire or the command to put on the attire as a restriction to ‘good life’? No! Actually, putting on the attire (Obeying the Word of God) is a preparation to get you ready to enjoy good life. Jesus said that in him you will have peace. But in the world you will have troubles [John 16:33].

What makes you think that being worldly is profitable? In actual fact, those things which you ‘enjoy’ while being worldly is a bait to get you out of your Good Life Inheritance. If you doubt me, ask Eve if she got the wisdom which she was deceived to get. Ask her if the succulent fruit which she saw, and by eating it fell short of the glory of God, was worth eating?

Anything God gives you is the WORTHY ONE. The devil’s job is to steal that from you. And the only way he can do that is to bait you with deception: “Sleep with your fellow woman, you won’t get pregnant; have pre-marital sex with a condom, you won’t get infected with Aids; don’t fast, food is nice; insult her back, how dare her insult you? She insulted you first after all, so insulting her back is no big deal; watch porn, it is fun. Besides you are not doing anything bad to anyone.” Etc. These and many more are the deceptions of the devil. He wouldn’t come to you with the raw form of the consequences of disobedience. Rather, he would wrap havoc in a pleasing package, so that you wouldn’t see anything but the package, and assume that since the packaging is nice, whatever is inside (the deception) would be nice. That is a lie from the pit of hell.

If you can’t boldly say that God is evil, God is bad, orvGod is wicked, but that he has been good to you before, and has been faithful to you before, then I came to tell you that God is not lukewarm to do good today, and evil tomorrow: If you have experienced His goodness before, even once, then know that He is good every day, and anything about Him is good, including His Word.

A way may seem right unto man but the end is destruction. Man, you don’t know everything, and cant’ see everything. Let the perfect, everlasting, and omnipotent God lead you to a glorious future. It is his pleasure to see his bride (the church, You) walk in righteousness through His leadings into a fruitful life. Check out what is written in Psalm 23:1-6. Read it carefully: “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters (not rough waters). He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (thus, it gives him pleasure to walk you on the paths of righteousness). Yea, though I (you) walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoints my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely, GOODNESS and MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE; and I will DWELL in the House of the LORD forever.” Amen.

Everything God does is for your good. Like a father, his correction, rebuke, encouragement, and provision [2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 12:5-8], are all for your good. None of them is for your destruction or restriction. And you have the power to obey them. Obey the Word of God! Live in your true self, Your spirit. Stop feeding your fallen nature, the flesh, and you will enjoy eternity with your Father in heaven.

Have a blessed day.

Live from the consciousness that you are the righteousness of Christ. Live in your true self, and quit thinking that obeying the Word of God is ‘you doing God a favour’. No! Obeying the Word of God is actually FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

Obeying the Word is your true nature. Doing anything different is like living in a lie. Just like you don’t “clap for yourself” when you breath, or when you speak your local dialect because it is natural to you, in the same way, obeying the Word of God is, and should be natural to you: You needn’t be “clapped for”, or expect a ‘clap’ when you obey the Word of God. It is your TRUE NATURE. Read the Word regularly, know what is written in it, and let it wash over you, as you live in its light.

You can obey the Word of God, and so should you!

Living in the flesh is like decorating your corpse. That isn’t going to get to Heaven.

“For to be carnally minded is DEATH…”_ Romans 8:6

Stay Blessed. Amen.
