I have just ordered a cake i saw online.
The decoration and packaging of the cake was beautiful.
I saw the price tag and it wasn’t too expensive.
Actually, I taught the pries of all cakes break banks. But the price of this cake I have ordered was cool; I can afford it twice.
But there is something quite interesting with this cake order: I don’t really know the person selling it. I only have her contact, and that is how I saw the cake on her status. I haven’t tasted any of her cakes before, I have no information about anything except a picture of the cake she had just posted.
and since what was posted is beautifully decorated and packaged,i ASSUMED that it’s beauty will equal its QUALITY and TASTE.
What do you think about this opinion of mine? Is it a good one?
Do you know that this is how some men choose their lifetime spouses? They see them beautifully dressed, and “packaged”, and they ASSUME that those women must be as good in person as their outward appearances. Is this right? Could they be wrong about their judgement?
I mean, like the cake online, they could taste bad, and even be of poor quality, not even worth their “affordable” price tag. Right?
Men, if you choose a woman as a your wife this way, then you are assuming her to be just a commodity which you can get rid off if she is ‘bad’. But marriage isn’t like that: You can’t get rid of the person even if he/she is bad. It was your choice, and you MUST live with it. Scary huh?
If this is how scary and serious the matter of marriage is, then we should NOT choose our spouses like they were commodities online (they pleased our eyes, hence our purchases). Choose a mate who pleases your PURPOSE, not just your eyes!
There is a huge profit rise in the makeup and wig industries. There is same in the clothing line industries. Thus, decoration and packaging of a lady will always EXIST.
You, the man has t build yourself up in wisdom to be able to see through the layers of decoration and packaging to the heart, and true personality of a person. You should be able to see what is beneath the layers of decorations; what is being covered, or “packaged”?
Don’t marry a mask. Marry a Person.
Amen.
