The fact that you came from a stable home doesn’t guarantee that you will have a good marriage.

And the fact that you came from a broken, chaotic, or toxic home doesn’t mean you have been cursed to have a bad marriage.

The nature of our homes gives us a reflection/image of the kind of marriage we will want or not want.

If you are from a broken home, you KNOW the kind of marriage you shouldn’t want. Hence, you avoid them.

If you are from a stable home, you have a picture of how a good home should BE like. Hence, YOU WORK towards achieving this “marital image”, and then AVOID anything which will not give you the good marriage results you are looking for.

Therefore, no one has been cursed or blessed in the area of marriage. The outcome of your marriage really depends on the input or work you put into it: If you want to have a good marriage, FIRST CHOOSE RIGHT (wisely), and then with WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE build and establish your home (marriage) [Proverbs 24:3-4]. That is all.
