“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. [Luke 10:19NIV]”

Why are there many policemen in the system yet robbers still exist? In fact, these robbers are increasing, and getting more sophisticated by the day. Why is this so?

Observe that the fact that many people are being given the (training and ) authority to become policemen doesn’t stop robbers from existing.

Remember also that, receiving the “police authority” means you are going to WORK. That police badge is your “license” to Work… in authority: To ENFORCE rules, arrest culprits, maintain community’s peace and harmony.

In the same way, AS Christians, Christ’s death and resurrection is our badge of authority. But it doesn’t mean we are to go home and sleep, neither does it mean it will scare the devil to stop being/doing evil.

Christ’s death and resurrection is our Badge of Authority. Yes! But until we go on the road to ENFORCE this authority over the “roaming devil”, our lives wouldn’t be at peace, and our promises and prophecies will be stolen by the adversary, the devil.

Until we go on our knees in prayer, and stay in obedience to the Word of God to ENFORCE this authority that Jesus Christ has given to us, then we must as well assume that Jesus never died, and that the devil is the ultimate and only control over the earth.

Is this really so?

Always remember, life, your life, without Christ will surely be full of mess and crises.
