Sin causes you, a child of God to lose your authority over the enemy. [Luke 10:19]

            Sin causes you to lose the protective covering of God since God is Holy. [Genesis 3:10]

                        Sin hides the face of God from you. [Isaiah 59:1-2]

                                    Sin causes you, a royal priesthood and king to be dominated and ‘ruled’ by Satan. [Revelation 1:6, Genesis 1: 26-28]

                                                Sin widens the gap between you and God. [Isaiah 59:2]

Beloved, let’s hate sin and its pleasures. If Adam knew that just eating the ‘apple’ (momentary pleasure) would cause him the Garden of Eden (his authority, his provision and protection, God’s presence, and his peace, etc), he would have SURELY stayed away from that tree, and not eaten its fruit.

He wouldn’t have allowed himself to be tempted and fall [Job 2:9-10]

Sweetheart, let’s stay away from sin. God is Holy, and he is Love. If something is good for us, he wouldn’t keep it from us. So if he is telling us to stay away from a particular thing (no matter how pleasing it may be to our eyes), then that thing is surely not for our good.

God is Love!
