Why do you pray in the name of Jesus and then doubt?
The name of Jesus is ABOVE every other name. At the mention of the name Jesus, EVERY KNEE bows, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. [Philippians 2:10-11]
Why do you mention the name of Jesus in prayer, and then doubt? What other name can provide your request except the name of Jesus?
Do you think any entity, power or principality can stop your request once you have asked it in prayer in the name of Jesus?
Which entity can take your request from God’s hand? Using the name of Jesus in prayer is like making an online purchase. Once you click checkout (say, ‘in the name of Jesus…’), every system is put in motion to make sure that your order is released to you.
Tell me, once you add an item to the cart, and then go through the process and click on checkout (to purchase the item), can even your enemy stop your order from being delivered to you? No! They may not even know about it. And even if they get to know, your order is already done. They can’t stop it.
But if they really want to stop it, and don’t want you to have what you have ordered for (prayed for), what do you think they would do?
They will come to you like a friend and convince you that what you have ordered isn’t nice, isn’t good, isn’t the correct item, or something. They will just bring negativity or confusion around you so that YOU WILL CANCEL YOUR ORDER.
Canceling your order is UNBELIEF; It is DOUBT.
No enemy can stop you from receiving your prayer requests (Luke 10:19). The only person who can stop you from receiving what you have asked for in prayer is YOU.
You are the only person who can stop yourself from receiving the answers to your prayers. How can you do that? Through unbelief and doubt.
“… you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you MUST believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.”[James 1:5-7]
Mark 11:24NIV – “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received (past tense, not future tense) it, and IT WILL BE YOURS.
Once you doubt your prayers or have unbelief, it is the same as you canceling your orders; you are not going to get anything.
Doubting is disrespectful. How do you mean by doubting? Are you saying that God, who created the world with His words is not capable of doing what your mind (his creature) has conceived or thought? Really?
Listen, once you make a request in the name of Jesus in prayer, believe that YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED what you asked for.
“Ask and it will be given to you;” [Matthew 7:7]
Yes! It’s like the delivery company; once you make an order and you pay for it, you expect to receive your item at the said time. Right?
Between God and the delivery company, who do you trust more? So why do you doubt your prayers? Why do you doubt God?
Remember, if you doubt, you wouldn’t receive anything from God.
“…But when you ask, you must believe and NOT DOUBT, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.”[James 1:5-7]
The NAME OF JESUS is ABOVE every other name. [Philippians 2:10-11]
You have been given authority over EVERY POWER OF THE ENEMY. [Luke 10:19]
Let me ask you this; should you receive what you are asked for, how would you feel? What will you do? How you will feel and what you will do is what you should be doing NOW after you have prayed.
After you have prayed and have believed that you have received what you asked for, PRAISE! Don’t wait to see in your hands what you have asked for before you thank God and praise Him for his goodness. PRAISE NOW!
Blessed are those who have NOT SEEN and yet have BELIEVED. [John 20:29NIV]
We live by FAITH, not by sight. [2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV]
PRAISE! PRAISE GOD for He is faithful.
PRAISE HIM for His integrity and trustworthiness
PRAISE HIM because He loves you and will do what you have asked for.
“And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.” [Hebrews 11:11]
“Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.” [Genesis 15:6NIV]
“And so, after waiting PATIENTLY, Abraham received what was promised.” [Hebrews 6:15]
“Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.” [Hebrews 11:19 NIV]
When you make an order online, do you wait till their delivery time to receive your item, or do you rush, demand, and yell that they give you your item per your time? How much more God? Be patient. Patience is a trait of love. And if you say you love God, then you would be patient with him. Won’t you?
Ecclesiastes 3:1NIV _ “There is time for everything and as season for every activity under the heavens…”
The NAME OF JESUS is your Order Checkout Code. Once you place the order, don’t go back and cancel it with DOUBT, and UNBELIEF.
Take care!
I love you, and Jesus Loves You Moreeeeeee….
Unlike the delivery company who asks for money in other to give you your item, the payment for your answered prayers is GOD’S LOVE. His Love pays for the order, and His Love brings your order to you IN HIS PERFECT TIME.
