Often, when a wife is cheated on by her husband, she feels insulted, hurt, betrayed, and sometimes stupid for ‘allowing’ this to happen to her. The guilt that comes with it is very grievous. “But this is what I would want to tell you babe; Choose God over me. Don’t worry yourself much about what I think about your deeds: If God accepts you cheating on me, or if your actions are okay with God, please go ahead. [I know this is hard for you to accept, but please listen to me.]

If cheating on me is okay with God, please go ahead.  In as much as you are my head, and I am your subordinate, we are both subordinates of God with Christ as our head. I need to obey you, but I ought to obey God too, if not more.

So, if God says cheat, fornicate, insult or do any evil with his Spirit in you, feel free to do it.

But if He isn’t cool with whatever deeds you have or intend to do, then I would suggest you listen to him. Not for my sake, but for the sake of your own salvation, and your name being in the Lamb’s book of life.

Marriage is honourable and the bed undefiled, yet marriage isn’t the main thing which qualifies us for heaven: Our salvation is. So before you do anything, seek/find out whether it would be detrimental to your salvation [Philippians 2:12]. If it would, I would beseech you to stop, but if it wouldn’t, please go ahead. And again, not for my sake, but for yours.

This is not to say that I don’t love you or don’t care about our marriage.

Actually, the contrary is true, because I know what the Lord has instructed me in Ephesians 5:22-24, and 33. And this is what your heavenly father who loves you so much says to you my hubby: Ephesians 5:25-33; “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the Word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. HE WHO LOVES HIS WIFE LOVES HIMSELF. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christi does the church- for we are members of his body. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh.However, each one of you also MUST love his wife AS HE LOVES HIMSELF, and the wife must respect her husband.”

#When your focus is on perfecting your own salvation, and fighting your own salvation with fear and trembling. If your salvation means a lot to you, then, some deeds of yours will fall off automatically.
